Hi Jono

Good to have you on the discussion board.

Most people won't be aware that Jono and I studied together towards an MA in Virtual Communication about 5 years ago and became great friends. Jono trained as a Graphic Artist but after we graduated he got itchy feet and a sail on Crazybird decided him that this was the way to go - but got a bit carried away wth things and signed onto the superyacht Hyperion belonging to Jim Clark of Netscape. They sailed from Sydney up to the West Indies and Med. He's still aboard, somewhere in the North Atlantic. He says Hyperion is just like Crazybird but has more toilets, showers and freezers. Also the link to the Internet is faster apparently.

Back in 2001 Jono helped with the design and set up of this Discussion Board and was initially a co-owner of the URL (thats where the mavc2002 came from, we used the web space for a few projects, this one is still going). He obviously didn't have any input to the Crazybird homepage design which would have been much more elegant if he had.

So Jono, tell us all about sailing on Hyperion. I guess you don't have to worry too much about centreboard attack angle?
